Patrice Stewart and Ninety-Six Ranch

Patrice Stewart is the fifth generation of her family to own and operate the iconic Ninety-Six Ranch in Paradise Valley, Nevada. The Ninety-Six is Nevada's oldest family ranch, operated continuously since 1864. The history of the family operation was the subject of Buckaroos in Paradise, a Library of Congress and Smithsonian project which remains available on line at buckaroosinparadise@loc.gov

Patrice was raised on her family's ranch, attended and graduated from TVCC's Horse Production and Ranch Management programs. Her mentors include her grandfather Les Stewart, father Fred Stewart, John and Jhona Bell, Wade Black, Matt and Leah Mori, Butch Recanzone, Katie Davis, Brian Taylor, Paul Elsner and Marguerite Happy.

Today, she helps manage the family's commercial cattle operation, raises and trains ranch and barrel horses, and barrel races professionally.
